Position Overview
Nashville Computer Techs (a growing 6 year old firm) is looking for someone to give computer lessons to people that are interested in learning how computers and the internet work as well as Microsoft applications. The ideal person for this job will love teaching people, posses good communication skills, patience, and very knowledgeable about computers, software and the internet. Bi-lingual is a plus but not necessary. Nashville Computer Techs has provided a storefront with brand new Dell desktops and flat screens loaded with XP pro / Vista, Office 2003, CD/DVD drive and audio plug-ins in the front of the pc. All computers are connected to the internet. The computers are all next to each other with a window-view at 6911 Lenox Village Drive 37211. Our store has a lot of exciting new things to offer the public. Tutoring can be done in the morning, afternoon, evenings & weekends. The lucky person for this position will help develop the structure of the program as well as helping the owner market the service while we pay for the advertisement. If you are interested in this position we want to hear from you. Salary details will be discussed in the interview. There are so may people that need to learn technology.
Essential Job Functions
· Respond to applicants wanting to get tutored
· Consult with individuals and their needs
· Schedule appointments for computer lessons
· Give skill assessment test
· Train and tutor clients in a live environment
· Follow up for more lessons
Y,P-PC Bench Technician
Position Overview
Work on computers at the bench, troubleshoot both software and hardware, install software and hardware.
Essential Job Functions
· Clean spyware
· Install and replace hardware (Motherboards, hard drives, memory, video cards, etc.)
· Install all OS platforms and drivers (Xp, 2000,Server 2003)
· Troubleshoot error messages and lockups
· Build complete systems
· Test components to be resold
· Remote tech support
· Install backup hard drives
· Keep detailed records on invoice sheet
Non-essential Job Functions
· Keep parts area organized
Requirements
· Must have A+ certification
· Must have 2 years experience in help desk or benchtech
· Must have reliable transportation
· Criminal background check
· Drug test
· Valid I.D. and Social Security Card
· Willing to work a flexible schedule

Travel to customers home or business, setup networks, troubleshoot both software and hardware, install software and hardware.
